WhatsApp Communication and Marketing Notice
1.1 This notice applies when you communicate with INNOV8 SPACES PTY LTD (registration number K2021589130), trading as Innov8 Spaces, of 7 Middle Road, Morningside, Sandton, South Africa, through the official WhatsApp Business number 073 864 2027.
1.2 It explains service communications, guest support and direct marketing. It should be read with the Privacy Notice and, for a booking, the Booking Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Innov8 may use WhatsApp to respond to an enquiry or send requested or necessary messages concerning a quotation, booking confirmation, payment status, check-in, access, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, changes to the stay, feedback on an active service issue or another transaction.
2.2 These messages are used to take steps at your request or administer the service and are not direct marketing. If WhatsApp is not suitable, contact reservations@innov8spaces.co.za or 010 595 5700 to request another available channel.
3.1 Innov8 will send promotional WhatsApp messages only where permitted by POPIA, including where you have voluntarily opted in or where the limited existing-customer conditions apply to Innov8's own similar services.
3.2 Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of making or keeping a booking.
3.3 Promotional message frequency will vary but will be kept reasonable. Messages will identify Innov8 and provide a simple way to stop future marketing.
4.1 To stop promotional WhatsApp messages, reply STOP, use another opt-out instruction in the message, or contact info@innov8spaces.co.za. Opting out is free apart from ordinary network data charges.
4.2 An opt-out applies to marketing. Innov8 may still send necessary messages about an active booking, payment, safety issue, legal obligation or request you initiated.
5.1 Innov8 may process your telephone number, profile name and image visible to the business account, message content, attachments, dates and times, booking reference, consent and opt-out records, and information needed to respond or provide the service.
5.2 Please do not send full payment-card details, banking passwords, one-time PINs or other credentials through WhatsApp. Send identity documents or sensitive information only where specifically requested through an approved channel and reasonably necessary.
6.1 WhatsApp is a service provided by the Meta group and operates under its own terms and privacy information. Messages and related technical information may be processed through infrastructure outside South Africa.
6.2 Innov8 controls its own use of information received through its business account. WhatsApp or Meta may separately process information as an independent provider. Review the provider's current notices in the WhatsApp application or official website.
7.1 Information may be shared with authorised Innov8 personnel, messaging or customer-support providers, and other service providers or authorities where reasonably necessary and lawful, as described in the Privacy Notice.
7.2 Conversations are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, booking, service, complaint, security, consent record or legal requirement, and are then deleted or de-identified in accordance with Innov8's retention practices.
FRAUD WARNING: Innov8 will never ask for a banking password, card PIN or one-time password by WhatsApp. Independently verify any message claiming that Innov8's banking details have changed by calling the telephone number on the official Website. Do not rely on the number contained in the suspicious message.
8.1 You are responsible for securing your device and WhatsApp account. Notify Innov8 promptly if you believe someone has impersonated Innov8 or accessed a conversation without authority.
9.1 WhatsApp delivery may be delayed or unavailable because of network, device or platform issues. Use an alternative contact channel for urgent matters if no response is received.
9.2 Nothing in this notice excludes gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.1 Privacy questions and objections may be sent to info@innov8spaces.co.za. Service complaints may be sent to info@innov8spaces.co.za.
10.2 Innov8 may update this notice prospectively and will publish the current version and effective date on its Website.
10.3 South African law applies, subject to any mandatory rights or forum available under applicable law.
